Movement Meditation

Many find traditional meditation and exercise to be challenging. Combining them into one can be the most fun, effective way to do them. I do what I call Spirit Dance (aka Movement Meditation). I intuitively move the way my body wants to. It can be slow stretching, yoga or dance type moves, high energy and fast or somewhere in-between. Just depends on your mood. You can change your routine as you’re doing it. Any type of music can work or even silence. Use your intuition with movement to find what works best for you. Most importantly you should be relaxed, completely immersed in the movement or music and enjoying yourself. Movement Meditation can be anything that allows you to connect spiritually. You don’t need to limit yourself.
